While the summer progresses, so does our garden. It’s now late July and we’ve been harvesting a few different items from our wonderful garden. Things have really taken off in the last week, and soon we will, most likely, be overwhelmed with fresh produce. Not that anyone will be complaining around here! This is our favorite time of year at May Farms.

We harvested our first potatoes of the season this week, and have begun picking squash and lettuce as well. We should be ready to open our full-scale farmstand in the next couple of weeks at this rate. Naturally, we will keep you posted as to when that will happen.

Have you ever had fresh potatoes, right out of the ground? If you haven’t ever had any potatoes that you didn’t buy at the grocery store, you simply do not know what you’re missing. Fresh, farm raised potatoes that haven’t been sitting in a warehouse somewhere are tender, creamy and so full of flavor- they are way beyond your ordinary potato! They even cook much faster than their store bought cousins. This year, the only way you will get any of those fresh May Farms potatoes, though, is by coming in for a meal. They are reserved for our signature dishes here when you come to the farm on the weekends. We might be selfish this way, hoarding them all for ourselves- but we guarantee you will think that you’d died and gone to heaven when you taste what our chef can do with these tasty morsels! So it’s really not selfish at all, we want you, our guest, to get the most extraordinary experience and tastes possible at your next visit to the farm.

Come enjoy a May Farms signature lunch or dinner experience- it’s like nowhere else on the planet! Great food, great fun and impeccable world-class service. That’s the May Farms difference!
